While i redesign my website i want to take site off line. So i installed WP Maintenance Mode. I went to the pulgin’s setting and in the design tab wrote a message, and added a background for those who seek out my site.

What I do not understand is, when my friend searches for the site, all he gets is a general message that the site is temporally off line.

Why does not my message and image show?

this message seems like the .maintenance file message.
not likely related to WP Mainteance Mode plugin
are you able to access your files via webhosting cpanel or ftp?
    might be a hidden file.
    who is your webhosting vendor?
