Maintaining outside links when switching to a subdomain

I am using irondoggy.com for my wordpress blog and would like to switch it over to blog.irondoggy.com. I plan to use irondoggy.com for a eCommerce site using Volusion.

Can anyone tell me if I outside links to my blog posts coming from Google and Facebook will be lost when I make this change? I am also wondering how to point a domain alias to my wordpress blog if irondoggy.com is pointing somewhere else.
