• Hi – I’m running a network site (with BuddyPress), and I’m confused about the way the users are displayed.

The network users list displays a list of all users. The site users list displays only a subset, about 80% of the users. I’m having a hard time figuring out why – does anyone know?

I’m also confused by the fact that you can’t change a person’s role from the Network Users list. So, if for some reason some users are registered to my network, but not to my site (is this possible?), how could I possibly change this? Through the database?

Thanks for any help and pointers you can give me. (:

I did figure out how to add a user to the main site: on the site side, click on Add User, and add an existing user.

Though, a new problem: I have one user who exists on another site on the network, but doesn’t show up in the Site Users list. I try to add her by either email address or username, and get the message that this user is already a member of the site. Any ideas why?

As a side note, the user counts are inconsistent on both sides of the site – the “All” on the network admin site doesn’t seem to include the Super Admin count, and the “All” on the site admin site includes everyone. I assume this was intentional?
