By “child pages”, I meant the dashboard pages – options-reading.php, plugins.php, etc.
I noticed the matter after the WP update – incase it is related.

On a Multi-Site where WordPress Its Own Directory; the wp-admin pages will have either the name of the directory or “network”. Right?

No. If you install WP in it’s own directory and set up multisite, you’ll have this:

    domain.com/wp-admin
    domain.com/directory/wp-admin
    domain.com/sitename/wp-admin

As far as WP cares, /directory/ is just another fake folder.

The only ones where /network/ will work is the first two.
