    Hi,
I am setting up a new site with 4 subdirectories. The subdirectories are all in folders in the public-html of the main site.
Each subdirectory has it’s own wordpress installation.
I assumed that I have to put WP GDPR Compliance on each installation as I have with all other plugins.
And so this means that on each subdirectory visitors will have to set the settings there on their first visit, after just having done it on the main site.
I am assuming that there is no way to have the settings on the main site handle it for all the subdirectories as each subdirectory has it’s own database ?

I am only asking for confirmation unless there is another way.

I hope it was a little bit clear, and again thanks for all the hard work.

  • Hello. Are you having a multisite environment? Or all they all separated WordPress installations? If you have a multisite environment, just install the plugin via the Network Panel and enable it. If they’re all separate WordPress installations you need to install it per installation and set it up per site.

Thanks, that what I thought, and that’s what I did yesterday.
I had one other question or something to point out.

I put a link into my primary nav menu and it all works very well and opens the “My Settings” as expected, on my desktop and laptop.
But when I use chrome inspector and I use the responsive setting it does not work on tablet or mobile. It doesn’t do anything at all except flicker. I don’t know if this is because I am using chrome dev tools, or not. I don’t have a tablet or a smart phone to check it, but I just thought I would tell you.
I am not going to use it in the menu after all but just wanted to tell youincase it is a real problem or not.
Thanks again for such a quick response and all the hard work.
