    Hi there.

    I recently imported my Blogger blog to my WordPress site. Before the WordPress layout with Tiny Forge looked great, with sidebar on the right side. But after the import the sidebar shifted to the middle area, where the main text should be. Now they are overlapping and I am not sure how to fix it.

    Has anyone had this experience? Do I need to edit the CSS??

    THanks in advance!

    Hi lmnavarra

    You may have some broken HTML in your pots you imported, so try out adding one by one if they are not many, else you have to edit CSS to make that work.

    I hope this will help you.

    Thanks

    If you just imported the content (posts), I would suspect, that there was html/php code parts inside post text (that would need to be removed). But this most likely would affect only those articles or index/archive views where those article are listed.

    Try to open other pages to see if that problem is universal across whole your site. Can you share the address of your site?

    Adding CSS to fix this problem in my opinion is not a good solution. I would try to remove all offending HTML code from posts manually.

    Thanks for the prompt responses! I imported all posts, comments and photos. I checked what you recommended, Tomas, and it’s the default position for all posts and pages as well. I also tried from another computer and it’s the same.

    My site is https://www.jarfullofstars.com

    Where would I look for ‘offending HTML code’?

    It looks, that you did something to CSS and articles are not to be blamed…

    #main {
        width:485px;
        float:left;

    You just copy-pasted whole blogger style sheet at the bottom of Tiny Forge, nobody is doing like this ??

    Delete all that stuff right away…
