• I’m certain this will turn out to have been something simple, but at the moment, the solution is evading me. I have an install of 3.4.2 on a RHEL 6 server running mysql, php, etc, and I’m having some difficulties.

Essentially, the main blog page displays, and all the admin pages display, but posts do not display, nor do pages I’ve added. They exist in the database. They show up in the listing on the front page. I can edit them at will. They are published, and yet when I click the “View Post” button from the editing page, or when I click the post title on the main page, I get the infamous “page not found.”

I don’t know if I’m missing something, blew something up in the mysql db, or perhaps even something like permissions in the directory on the server. I simply don’t know, and since I can’t link you to the page at present(it is not viewable from the internet), I’m hoping somebody has seen this before.

    Thanks!

    A little more info:

I was looking through various other posts on somewhat similar issues, and I attempted to do what one suggested: I set permalinks back to default, and this made the links on the main page work. Unfortunately, changing them back to %postname% broke the posts and pages again. Can anybody tell me why permalink setting is causing this issue? And how to fix it?

    Thanks!
