Main Page stuck as blog

    im using the theme as a store and the when i set the front page as any regular created page it makes it a blog. (except when i use the woocommerce shop page as the front page).

    i have already set a different page as the blog page and need a static front page that is not the blog.

    how do i do this?

    Yes i am. I am trying to create a static front page with a separate blog (#3).

    and when i create the static front page and use the default template it publishes the page as the blog. and when i use the full width template it does show the contents of the page but it removes the right side bar with my widgets. (and the page does not have the standard margins)

    i need the front page to look like the rest of my pages with the side bar.

    ok. so somehow i switched to a different them and then when back to Electa, and now it can magically set the main page as a static page of my choosing and not a blog.

    not sure what corrected it. but the issue has self healed. hope it sticks this way whatever bug it is.

    Oh great! Always nice when these things seem to fix themselves :)!
