Main page is a blog post – I want it to be a page

    I’m new obviously – somehow set up site such that the landing page (“Home”) is a blog post and not a page. How do I correct this. Also how do i change the order of the menu items (Home, About us, Diary, COntact us) etc etc?
    How do I drop one theme and use another without having to recode everything?
