main navigation link order?

    I’m having trouble getting my main navigation links in the proper order –They’re defaulting to “alphabetical” even though I’ve specified the order numerically under “Page Attributes” on each page.

    Am I missing something –Is there some override I haven’t dealt with?

    Have you tried switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific issues?

    Hi esme,

    Twenty ten showed the nav links in the proper order, so it IS theme specific.

    No sure what to do now, but now I have more information. Thanks!

    Max,

    Wouldn’t you have more control over your navigation by using the custom menus feature (Appearance > Menus), instead of using numbered ordering? Most modern themes support at least one custom menu (set in the top left of the menus page, under “Theme Locations”).
