Main Menu on page not working after update

  • I just updated our website to ver. 4.5.3 and when I checked the actual webpage the Main Menu area was replaced with the items/links that’s from FAQs. I checked the menu settings [Appearance>> Menus>>…] and the “Menu Structure” for Main Menu every items for it are still set to page… I also checked the FAQs and the “Menu Structure” shows that every items for it are set to Custom link…

    Also, I checked the widgets for the footers and everything seems to be in proper order except on the very bottom part… I found small links for Home and other links that are supposed to be on top as Main Menu. I tried so many ways to fix this but I don’t know what else to do.

  • I cant help you with this, but I’d like to add that I’ve just installed update 4.5.3 and now it does not let me edit any of my pages.. I edit the text on the page in the visual editor and the changes remain in there, but it doesn’t change on the website? any idea?

    Really wish i hadn’t installed the update i could edit things fine before, i’ve looked into downgrading but process seems pretty long-winded and you need FTP which I don’t have.

    I was finally able to fix mine… I tried few things including deleting my FAQs menu, but so far everything is good. It seems like every time there’s a new update, always something goes wrong… ??

    @ bfranklin662… I just tried editing one of my webpages and it seems to be working fine. Is it just the plain text that you were trying to edit? Or perhaps something else that’s related to a link?
