Main menu link submenu not opening in new window.

The Experience link on my homepage has links below it which when clicked open in the same window, not a new window as I have set. This is what I would like to happen.

If I click on the Experience link that page opens in the same window (this is good) and when I click on the links they open in a new window (these are the same links as the ones in the drop down under Experience) but the page displayed is a menu page and it indicates ‘Page not found’.
