Main menu display on mobile

Hi there, I am wondering if there is a way to make the main navigation menu more accessible on mobile devices? Currently, the drop-down menu only shows up as an empty square/box and almost everyone visiting my site have had trouble finding it or knowing what it is. Is there any way to add text next to it to say something like “Menu” or even make it look more like a menu drop down? Thanks!
