Main Menu broken after upgrade to 4.0 (or maybe 3.9)

  • The main menu on my site is not working correctly. It seems to be the styling that is effected. The drop down menu has shifted to the left and I can’t click on anything to take me to the corresponding pages.

    I have an older version of this site. I just updated it to 4.0 and the menu broke as well, so I reverted back to my old version and it is working again.

    I have disabled all plugins and emptied my cache.

    I just discovered that it works better in Chrome and Firefox. Not perfectly, but better. It is not working in Safari. Not sure if that helps anyone diagnose, but I thought I’d mention it. Thanks.

    ok…….this is strange!!!! Now it’s working in Safari, too. Looks like I have a little css to clean up……but the functionality is there. I’m really not sure why it’s working now. I haven’t been trying to fix it this morning, I’ve been working on design (not of the menu, but of pages). So, I guess my issue is resolved, but unfortunately, of no help to others.

    Back again. So here’s the deal: It works when I am logged out of WP. I doesn’t work when I’m logged in admin. Although not critical, it would be helpful if it worked. Any ideas?
