Thanks for posting.

The big image is a posts slider that makes use of Jetpack Featured Content. For more on the integration, please, see https://siteorigin.com/unwind-documentation/posts-slider/.

Once Jetpack is activated, you can go to https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules to view the modules activated and deactivate the ones you’d rather not use.

Thanks for the reply.

I have a problem regarding these instructions via the link you posted.

“Next, use the Customizer back button twice to go back to the Customizer settings home page. Click the Featured Content section to manage those settings”.

I do not see ‘Featured Content’ settings anywhere. I also can not activate jetpack, due to this message: “Error Details: The registration secrets sent by your site do not match the ones the Jetpack server has on record.”

Is this because I am editing on a staged website? If so, does this then mean I can not use the slider feature on the staged website, and I would have to edit the actual website in order to get this feature?

Featured Content is a feature of Jetpack, if Jetpack isn’t activated, the Featured Content section, unfortunately, won’t be displayed in the Customizer.

I haven’t had to troubleshoot an issue like this before. Regarding another issue, is it possible to have social icons under my recent blog posts via the home page? Is this theme related or plugin related?

Unwind also makes uses of Jetpack Post Sharing, please, see: https://siteorigin.com/unwind-documentation/post-sharing/. Ultimately, this will be a plugin-driven feature. There are many other plugins that could drive the same functionality.
