    Good morning,

Thank you so much for this amazing plug-in! I was looking into my cache options, and I was just curious to know what the main differences between automatic and manual cache was. I understand manual cache has an option for me to insert the links for the pages I really want to be cached. But for the automatic option, what is necessarily getting cache’d?

I have also already read your description on it, but am still a bit confused.

    Thanks,
    Milton

In automatic pre-caching, it will grab the links of the latest POST, PAGE or Custom POST(As per selection). Cache those URLs will also cache on after PWA(service worker) installation in the backend.

For manual as you know whatever link you provide those links will cache after PWA(service worker) installation in the backend.

This Precaching links will not reflect your current page load, its run after loading and installation of ServiceWorker.

Ahh I understand. Thank you for the follow up! Let’s say that I have all three boxes of “Post,” “Page” and “Custom Post” check-marked in the settings, and that “the last 5” is what I inserted. You’re saying that whatever was the user’s last 5 clicked items will be cached instead of any links that I choose?

Also thank you for bringing up the ServiceWorker download, that’s a great help. I forgot about that.
