main blog page deleted but blog posts still exist

  • Help please!!! Not sure how but I seem to have deleted my main blog page (under blog at the top of my site). The blog posts still exist – all of them are there when I look at ‘blogposts’ in my dashboard. No idea how I have done this and I am v new to my site so have no idea how to get it up and running again. Basically, what I had before was horizontal sections, each featuring a small image, blog post title and a snippet of the content. Each time I created a new blog post, it just added it to the list, which could be seen on my main blog section. Any help gratefully received but I warn you… I don’t really know what I am doing… Thank you

    you may ask your Hosting provider to restore Database backup of your Blog, so that all the settings will be recovered.

    Thanks for your response, Dan. I have tried with my host provider. They are useless!!! They designed the website then have washed their hands of me – even though they are hosting my site. That’s what you get for getting some cheap guys to do the website and hosting. Can I ask you, assuming I go back to them again and ask for a database back up, how often are these things backed up? To be honest, I’m not sure when it was last there…
