• Hi
    Having a Link like this:
    mailto:[email protected]?subject=Infos RED & BLUE
–> “& BLUE” is cut off, when mail-program shows mail

    Changing to: mailto:[email protected]?subject=Infos RED & BLUE
–> “& BLUE” is still cut off

    Changing to: mailto:[email protected]?subject=Infos RED %26 BLUE
–> “&” is omitted: subject: “BLUE RED”

Any idea to force the plugin to show the &-Symbol?

    Thanks
    woody18

    Hello.
Use the construct %26 for &-Symbol.

But for symbol % – use HTML code. You can find on https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+0025

    Hi
    Thank You!
It works – BUT no for ever…:

    1.
Your Answer which I see in the Browser is not what I see in the Notification-Mail
Browser: Use the construct %26 for &-Symbol.
    Mail: Use the construct & # 0 3 7 ; 2 6 for &-Symbol.(I put the spaces)

    2.
Using that construct in the mailto-string –> it works (I do not loose the &)

    3. BUT:
Refreshing the float-menu-site (i.e. wanting to change something) I see that the construct has gone and I see only %26 instead and in the Mail the & disappeared again.

So the solution with thois construct is onyl stable if I do not touch the float-menu-site anymore.

    any Idea?

Yes, you’re right. It should be inserted and not touched again, as the construction is being transformed into a symbol.
