Mailto email address not encoded

I am using Simple Mail Address Encoder 1.5.4
The mailto address is not encoded when I check the html code. The browser reports no error. The plugin is added in the footer. I tried to deactivate various plugins but this does not solve it either.In another installation WP 3.9.1 with a different template it works fine.(https://trexanhlab.com/contact/)
Any ideas how I can fix it?
