Mailto doesn’t work for me – possibly due to my MS set-up?

    The other day, I posted that my Mailto links on my website don’t seem to be working. In fact they do.

    Someone kindly showed me, and they also work on my phone. However they don’t work on my desktop or laptop.

    When i go to Default apps, I can’t choose Outlook. Instead the option I see is “Email and Calendar apps”. Outlook is not listed there even though I use it all the time. I’ve attached a screenshot of this to show you.

    Can anyone guess why I can’t choose Outlook?

    I don’t know if it is related, but my MS Office set up is under my private email address – so i’m wondering if that might somehow be relevant here?

    Please share the code you’ve used to add mailto, and also send your website URL. So we could check and someone could help you.

    I’m fairly sure the problem isn’t with the code (but could be wrong) but with how my browsers (Chrome and Edge) are set up or something else with my Office set up.

    However any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated ??
