Mailster Honeypot not working

Hello,

I have Mailster installed on my wordpress site with the honeypot option enable under security but it does not seem to be working as I am still getting bot attacks on the subscription form. I have reCaptcha enabled to keep them at bay for now but any way to get the honeypot function working? It is much lighter to load on the site. Thank you!
