    hi all.

    all new articles from this site have always triggered mail alerts to subscribers.

    but now this does work anymore. no alerte is sent.

    at the same time, auto publication on Facebook is down.

    any clue?

    Hi @jimdoneit,

    Your connection to Jetpack looks good, so that’s a good first step! However, I’m seeing a few necessary updates for your site, but I won’t share them here due to privacy concerns (outdated plugins, themes, and WordPress itself can pose security risks.)

    Please go to the Updates page in your site’s WP Admin and update anything there that needs updating. Once that’s done, let us know here if you continue to have trouble.

    I have the same issue (the notification mails to subscribers) since the last update of the Jetpack plugin in v11.3.2. Before that, everything was OK.

    It seems back to normal today…

    thanks for the feedback. if the behavior is the same across sites, it sounds like Jetpack itself was involved…

    oops… same problem again. may be the new behavior: 2 days delay between posting and mails sent ?

    I can see you’ve reported that the issue is back; from our end, I do see that you are running an outdated version of both WordPress and Jetpack.

    Please update those to the latest version to make sure everything is working as supposed.

    thanks for the feedback.

    on the plug-in page, Jetpack is not shown as outdated. this probably means that it is in phase with the WordPress version. until now everything worked fine, and now the delayed article alert showed up a few hours later, while the automatic FB publication also happened – which i had to delete since i had already shared manually the article.

    my resistance tu some updates is translation issues, when developers (including Jetpack’s) leave hard coded sentences that i have to retranslate after the update…

    anyway, i can do it, but the sudden appearance of the bug and the fact that others are also experiencing it for no reason raises questions.

    hi.

    as i wrote yesterday, and the day before to [email protected], although WordPress, all my plug-ins and my theme have been updated, i still experience the problems: an 11 hours delay for the notification of the publication to my subscribers, and no automatic publication on Facebook.

    you were talking earlier of a “sync issue”. i have no idea if something can be done about that and how.
