Mails marked as spam after upgrade to PHP7

    I have been using Easy WP SMTP on 4 different sites for a couple of years – running flawlessly. Thanks ??

    However I just updated 2 of these from PHP 5.x to PHP 7 – and suddenly mails are marked as spam.

    Any ideas why this is?

    I’m using the plugin on PHP7 for quite some time and emails are not being sent to spam.

    Are you using the latest plugin version?

    Thanks for getting back so quickly!

    My clients receive numerous mails (requests and applications) via these forms using Easy WP SMTP, and the very moment the site was moved (migrated) to PHP7 the mails were marked as (spam) in the subject field and also treated as spam in ex. Outlook.

    And yes, latest plug in versions on all sites. I am using Enfold theme on all of these.

    The site was migrated to some other server, correct? And I assume you’re not using some popular SMTP like gmail or office365, but rather custom SMTP server? If it is, I guess the problem is in it and not related to the plugin, since it’s 100% compatible with PHP7.

    You are right all the way through – this was a “local” issue NOT related to the plugin. Thanks for great 5 star support
