Mails don’t send once switched to live email address
-
My site is hosted with Go Daddy. We used a temporary domain when building the site and the contact forms worked fine.
On switching to the live domain, we updated the contact form’s ‘From:’ field to include the our business email address. When we updated this, although the form showed no errors, messages are no longer making it through to the email account. On switching this field back to <[email protected]> the messages started making it through again. Everything is working fine now with the temporary domain in that field, but the form is saying it’s an error as the email address doesn’t match the domain.
Should i leave it as it is because the form is working, or is there something i need to fix with my email provider so i can put the correct email address in the ‘From:’ field?
Thanks
