    Hey,

after the 6.1 WordPress update all my pages are sending mails from “postmaster@mydomain” instead of using the setting “Overwrite Sender” in the backend.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @thueske,

    Thanks for reaching out!

What’s the mailer that you have configured on your site? For example, if you have configured the Other SMTP mailer option using one email account (Eg: support@mydomain), your website notifications will be sent using that authenticated email account (there’s no way to send emails using another email account).

If you have configured a mailer like SendLayer, SMTP.com, Sendinblue, Mailgun, SendGrid, Postmark, SparkPost, etc, you should be able to send emails using different email addresses (support@mydomain / info@mydomain).

    I hope this helps. Thanks!
