Hi and thank you for making this amazing plugin.

I am using MailPoet and I am loving it. I have MailPoet’s Pop Up subscription form at my website. But MailPoet’s Pop Up Form is creating a strange glitch when I add Table of contents to my posts.
When I use the Table of contents in my posts; there is a new link appears at the end of the Table of Contents. This link is my “MailPoet’s Po Up Subcription Form”.

I have no idea how Table of contents plugins are seeing this pop up subcription form as a “link/section” and add it into the table of contents.

You can check from my website URL and see your self. Please check my post link: https://furniched.com/contemporary-living-room/

There are 700K downloads of MailPoet and I belive many websites are using Table of Contents plugin too as I do. And MailPopet’s Pop Up form is creating an absurd link in the table of contents. I have tried many Table of contents plugin but there is only one doesn’t show MailPoet’s pop up form as a link in the Table of contents which is “easy table of contents” plugin.

If you have a solution for this please let us know. I love MailPoet Pop Up form and I also need to use Table of contents for SEO purpose.

I hope you can give me a solution for this.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi there @brs76,

Taking a look at your example page, I see that you still have the MailPoet Pop-up form displaying, but the Table of Contents is no longer including it, so it seems you’ve already sorted this out. Great job!

The pop-up form is added as a hidden section to the page content, so if the Table of Contents was being auto-generated and including all the sections of the content, then it would need to exclude that form on its end. Otherwise you would need to hide that specific part of the table of contents afterward using code.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Otherwise, take care and have a wonderful day!
