    Hello,

i’m trying to set up the sending service on mailpoet 3, and with the configuration settings i’ve input, i keep on getting this error message when i try to send the test email.

“The email could not be sent: Failed to authenticate on SMTP server with username “info@****.co.uk” using 3 possible authenticators. Authenticator CRAM-MD5 returned Expected response code 235 but got code “535”, with message “535 Incorrect authentication data”

    Below is my configuration settings

    Method: SMTP
    Sending frequency: Recommended
    SMTP Hostname: mail124.extendcp.co.uk
    SMTP Port: 587
    Login: *****
    Pasword: ****
    Secure connection: No
    Authentication: Yes

When i change the SMTP port to 465, the error message i get back is:

“The email could not be sent: Connection to mail124.extendcp.co.uk:465 Timed Out”
