I have just sent a newsletter to a small list using the MailPoet sending service. All the messages ended up in the recipients spam, which I had hoped would would not happen!

    Any suggestions please?

    Hi @peterarees,

    Any suggestions please?

Oh no, sorry to hear that your emails ended up in the Spam folder.

Can you please go through this article and let me know if you have properly set up DMARC and DKIM records?

Also, please check if the IP associated with your domain is currently on a blacklist: https://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx

If it’s currently blacklisted, it will affect your deliverability. In this case, we strongly recommend contacting your hosting provider and asking for further assistance.

    Thank you!

    Hi @peterarees,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

I apologise, I thought I had replied. DMARC is not available on my hosting. However DKIM and SKF records are implemented. The issue was with the MAILPOET email send service which you recommend to avoid SPAM. I thought I would try it but as advoised it resulted in everything going to SPAM.

I reverted to using FluentSMTP which resolved the problem.

So the problem is overcome but not fixed in the sense that the MailPoet send service did not work.

    Peter
