    Am getting confused…

What is the difference between ‘MailPoet>Emails’ and an email Outbox?

MailPoet>Emails lists emails that have been sent, with a very useful opened/clicked percentages column; but click [Add New] and you’re taken to a page to select an email template from a list of pre-written emails.

Why, to make an email, does a pre-existing email have to be selected and duplicated, before its content is edited and sent?

Where is MailPoet’s email outbox, that keeps a record of sent email content?

    Thanks for any clarification. ??

  • Hi @cmsplay,

The MailPoet plugin is a WordPress plugin that allows you to create newsletters and send to a list of subscribers.

In the MailPoet > Emails page, you’ll see all types of emails you’ve created using our own newsletter editor. Drafts, scheduled and sent emails will be listed on this page so you can manage them and have a history of sent newsletters and their stats.

An outbox is simply where outgoing e-mail messages are temporarily stored.
