    Hello,

I recently set up a staging site (using the WP-STAGING extension, this staging site has its own database) to develop future modifications to a website already in production.

Unfortunately, I see that the emails, subscribers and lists have been duplicated but are in the trash. The activation key is displayed as valid on the staging site, just like on the live website.

So I ask myself this question: can a staging site share the same activation key as its live version?

Can a live website and its staging version synchronise the same data concerning emails, subscribers and lists?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Regards,
    Gerald

    Hi there @opus73 ????!

Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

So I ask myself this question: can a staging site share the same activation key as its live version?

While I think that the key is not expected to work, you should be able to do all the required testing activity such as managing subscribers, lists, etc.

Sending will not work, but everything else should be OK.

Please keep us posted, we’ll be glad to keep troubleshooting this issue with you.

    Thanks

    Cheers!
