This definitely doesn’t sound right!

I can’t replicate the same issue in my test environment so I suspect that the plugin update introduced a conflict on your site.

Can you please check if the same issue persists after a full conflict test? This is how you can perform it: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/204-how-to-test-for-plugins-conflict
