Hi, we would like to test MailPoet. But it is not possible to use the free version because we have 6000 users (subscribers).

We just want to send it to a list of 600 people, just to see, if it will work, We are totally willing to buy the Plugin, if we see any success. But it is not possible to try, because of our amount of WP-Subscribers.

    Is there any solution?

    Thanks!

And: we actually don’t want to send it to our subscribers.

If you don’t want the WordPress Users being taken into account towards your subscribers limit, you can disable the WordPress Users list for now.

To do that, please follow these steps: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/133-the-wordpress-users-list#disable-wordpress-list

You can enable it back at any time though.

Sorry, my description was not correct. It worked with the WP-users, but I also need a solution for the WooCommerce customers.

Unluckily, there is no button “disable and Trash” for the customers. Is there any other solution? THANKS! We really would like to try MailPoet!

    Hi @brisch,

Sorry, my description was not correct. It worked with the WP-users, but I also need a solution for the WooCommerce customers.

Although it’s not possible to disable this list like you can do with the WordPress Users list, you can set all your WooCommerce Customers to “Unsubscribed”.

To do that, go to the MailPoet > Settings > WooCommerce tab and uncheck the “Opt-in on checkout” and “Subscribe old WooCommerce customers” options.

The users will remain added to the WooCommerce Customers list, however, they will be marked as “Unsubscribed” and won’t be counted towards your limit.

@bruberries Really nice that you added the ability to trash the WordPress User list. Is it possible to prevent this list from being created, using a hook? Or to trash this list using code?

    Best regards,
    Per

    Hi there @pers ????,

Is it possible to prevent this list from being created, using a hook? Or to trash this list using code?

While that’s not possible yet, it is a great suggestion. It would be great if you could add it as a suggestion here https://feedback.mailpoet.com so that other users can upvote and comment on it.

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??

    Cheers

If in the future I want to use WooCommerce customers and WP users, how can I enable them? Thanks
