I don’t have any problems using the mailpoet shortcode on my pages but somehow when inserted into my post page, this error message keeps popping up ” an error has occurred. Please try again later”

I’ve tried for weeks now, not sure what the problem is. When I use an existing form ie contact form which work fine on my contacts page, it will not work in my post page.

    Any idea?

    Hi there @theknottylace,

Unfortunately, since that error message is not very specific/helpful, it’s hard to say what might be causing the issue.

What is the specific shortcode you are using? It sounds like you are referring to a form shortcode, correct?

Please send screenshots of the settings for that form, and the post editor where you are inserting it. Also, a screenshot of how the post is displaying with the error after you insert the shortcode. I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply here.

Finally, please reach out to your hosting to see if there are any PHP error logs on the server around the time you tried to add the shortcode —?those could provide additional details and help narrow down what is happening. If there are some logs, then copy the contents of the log into pastebin.com — click “Create new paste,” and send the resulting URL so that we can take a look. Thank you!
