    Hello,

We have been sending our monthly newsletter with MailPoet for just under one year.

Recently, our emails have been landing in spam for most of our list.

When I used the mail-tester.com tool, I get the following errors which are significantly downgrading our emails:

    • HEADER_FROM_DIFFERENT_DOMAINS
    • URI_WP_HACKED_2

We are Premium, as our list is under 1000 subscribers, and we send using MailPoet Sending Service.

Is this something I can change on my end? Or a problem with the plugin?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Here is a link to the mail-tester.com result: https://www.mail-tester.com/test-6r3kt9d55&reloaded=5

Other emailing plugins seem to have encountered this in the past, where embedded images that contain wp-content are flagged – could this be what is happening?

    Thanks!

Thanks! I can see the most of the bad rating is due to URI_WP_HACKED_2.

URI_WP_HACKED_2 URI for compromised WordPress site, possible malware

The URI_WP_HACKED_2 item is a false-positive, probably because you included social icons in your newsletter or because it doesn’t identify the shortcodes added to the newsletter as valid URLs, for example. It may affect your score, but you can safely ignore it.

HEADER_FROM_DIFFERENT_DOMAINS From and EnvelopeFrom 2nd level mail domains are different

This is expected since the mail From ([email protected]) is different from the header From ([email protected]). We’re currently working to have a way to use the same domains but still is in the early stages of development.

Removing the social icons did the trick! Unfortunate that we can’t have the social icons, but a workable solution.

    Thank you!
