I am having trouble with your plugin conflicting with the Next Active Directory Integration plugin which my work uses to integrate with our Active Directory system. When both plugins are active, I am not able to edit either plugin’s settings. The settings area is blank. When one is deactivated, I can make full use of the plugin.

Can you tell me why there is an issue? Is there a common theme that happens when your plugin conflicts with another?

    Thanks,

  • Hi Jerrad,

If you enable WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php you will notice an error message coming from one of the back-end dependencies (Twig) that’s used by both plugins. The issue is due to a version conflict: Next Active Directory Integration plugin uses version 1.18.0 (from 2015) while we use version 1.32.0 (from 2017).

While we recommend that you ask the Next Active Directory Integration plugin authors to update Twig to a newer version, please try the following steps:

    1) Install Plugins Load Order plugin
    2) Make sure that the Next Active Directory Integration plugin is loaded first followed by MailPoet

Let us know if it works!

    Cheers,
    MailPoet Team.

Thanks that worked! I’ll let NADI know about the issue and request they update their Twig version so I can eliminate the need for the Plugin Load Order plugin.

    Thanks again!

    Jerrad
