• I am wondering if someone has found a work around for the issue of Apple Mail not displaying images found in Mailpoet e-mails from a blog hosted on Bluehost? For me, ALL images don’t display, only text – this includes images and even the social icons Mailpoet has selectable.

I have worked through everything that I possibly can – I have read multiple threads on this forum – to no avail. If the email is viewed in any other email client (I have tried Outlook, Yahoo Mail, ProtonMail, Gmail) the images display 100% fine, it is only in Apple Mail that the issue is found. I am running am running Monterey OS 12.7.3 on my Macbook Air and IOS 17.2.1 on my iPhone, both with the latest version available for those specific OSs.

Any help offered would be appreciated. I am thinking it’s a Mailpoet being used on Bluehost and downloaded on Apple Mail issue. There has to be a work around available since no other mail client is having an issue!

    Thanks… Steve

    Hey @twenty24,

When we see cases of images not displaying in Apple devices (and it’s not because of the Protect Mail Privacy / Block Remote Content in Mail settings), we find that it’s because the domain is on a blacklist which Apple is blocking. You can check that with your site URL here.

We have also found other users reporting the same symptoms in this discussion:?https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/693572
It mentions that the root cause can be the Let’s Encrypt certificate. You can check if your site SSL is using Let’s Encrypt.

The 100% solution would be to host your images externally instead of adding them to your Media Library. You can test this by adding an image that is hosted externally to your newsletter to see if it displays as expected on those Apple devices.

Another option would be to try switching your site certificate to another organization.
