MailPoet 3 images not showing in emails

MaiPoet 3 images are not showing in emails. (None of those issues apply: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/370-images-not-displayed-in-emails). However in the raw source of the email, the image links are malformed. For example: `https://www.livingsong.org/wp-content/upl=
oads/2017/10/Living_Song_logo_newsletter.png`
Note the = sign in the middle of uploads directory. What is going on? Thanks in advance. Maciek
