    Hello!

I installed Mailpoet 3 and it works fine for posts from my main website to our clients and also posts from my private subdomain (it’s a multisite WordPress install). Email notifications get sent out properly.

However, in the subdomain install, I also have bbpress forums. Users normally get notifications for every new topic, but for some reason, it doesn’t work now.

In Mailpoet settings, I chose for all emails of the website to be sent by Mailpoet. Is Mailpoet supposed to take care of bbpress notifications? If so, it’s just not working for me.

Here is the details that show up in the Help section of Mailpoet. I hope you are able to help me.

    Thank you!

  • @giaschel To my knowledge bbPress is using the standard email sending of WordPress. You will have to try deactivate the other plugins you have and see if that changes anything.
If it works without any of those plugins active, then activate them one by one and open a topic in the support forum of that plugin.
For e.g. bbp Toolkit, if you have the ‘mention’ option active, can you try to deactivate it so it no longer sends to the people that are mentioned?

    Hi @giaschel,

Is Mailpoet supposed to take care of bbpress notifications? If so, it’s just not working for me.

If you’re sending all emails from your website with the MailPoet’s sending method, it may be that some emails are not being sent due to some limitations of our sending service, unfortunately.

For example, when sending transactional emails with MailPoet 3’s sending method, an email will be sent to only one “To” email address, meaning that multiple ones are not supported. Furthermore, the MailPoet sending method does not support CC or BCC.

If that’s the reason why it’s not working for you, please go to?MailPoet Settings > Advanced >?Send all site’s emails with…?and select?“the default WordPress sending method”?option.

    Thanks!
