    Yesterday, our Mailing Lists stopped showing up in the plugin. We have been using the same lists for over a year now and all of the sudden they are gone. They still exist in our MailChimp account and the API status is “Connected.” We haven’t changed anything on the site that would affect this (no updates or new plugins). I’ve cleared the API cache and tried debug mode (no errors logged).

    Any ideas of what could have happened?

    Hello Chris,

    This same thing happened to another user just last week. In her case, her IP address was being blocked by MailChimp because it was flagged for malicious activity. This can happen if your hosting company shares IP addresses between sites (and one of the sites was flagged).

    As a first step, could you please contact your hosting company and ask them to check if MailChimp is blocking API requests between the servers?

    Yes, I believe something was going on with our server. Don’t know exactly what yet, but if we figure it out I’ll definitely let you know.

    The plugin seems to be working correctly again, that’s always a good thing.

    I’m glad it’s working now! Let me know if you find out what the problem was; I’m always interested in learning about issues that break the plugin, and it may allow me to help other users out as well.
