    Hi,

We are testing locally and do not require the emails to actually go out of our environment.

For this we are using MailHog.

With your plugin active we find that MailHog does not work.

We understand that if we add SMTP settings in Fluent SMTP, the emails will actually go out of our environment, but if we do NOT add SMTP settings in Fluent SMTP, ALL emails are stopped.

Currently we are forced to disable Fluent SMTP to operate locally.

This is not required by other SMTP plugins, but we wish to switch over to your plugin.

    Please guide / fix.

    Thanks

    Hello there,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. If you install Fluent SMTP, you’ll need to configure an email sending service to send the emails. For local testing, you may use the PHP mail option that does not require any credentials.

Let me know if you face any issues.

    Thank you
