MailChimp with CommentLuv

    I am looking to switch my subscription service from FeedBurner to MailChimp and am curious if MailChimp is able to show the “Notify me of new post by email” checkbox while using CommentLuv comments. I have read the forum topics about it not working with Jetpack or Disqus but can’t find if it works with CommentLuv or not. Thanks!

  • Seems CommentLuv does not work with Mailchimp.

    Yesterday I added Mailchimp and it would not work. I used Chrome browser > Inspect Element > Console and found:

    Uncaught ReferenceError: clp_settings is not defined
force-nonce-script.php?cl_nonce_refresh_script=yes&random=1438708586:2 Uncaught ReferenceError: clp_settings is not defined

    Turned off all my plugins and added one at a time and CommentLuv (premium no less) was the culprit. Repeated threae times. Sure enough. Sad to say.

    Hey tableandhearth,

    Currently we only integrate with default WordPress comments. While we do plan to offer integration for other comment system, there is nothing planned yet.
    I regret that I have not been much help.
