MailChimp Unsubscribe Text — can't change color

  • Hello!

    I’d like to change the color of the unsubscribe link to a different color than the LeadPlace and FeeWise links at the right sidebar. I tried the following css code:

    #mc_unsub_link {color: #a6a6a6; font-size: 11px;}

    I can change the size and position of the text, but not the color! I’m going crazy! Site location is:

    https://www.deedcast.com

    Sorry, it’s still not working! And I did copy and paste the code directly from this page. I really thought this would work, too! Any other ideas? TIA!
