• I synced my mailchimp account by following the steps (naked, form action url, etc). I have refreshed my page and cleared my cache but do not see the pop-up I created to test it out.

If you add the shortcode [optinform] to the content of any page, does it show up?

Yes, it shows with the [optinform] and other settings that allow you to post on the page and under the paragraph but I was hoping there was an option for a pop-up optin box.

I also posted the [optinform] on my page but the email does not populate on the Mailchimp email list I designated.

    Hi,

The plugin does not have a pop-up functionality at the moment.

There’s the automatic output of the form which you can choose to be after 1st paragraph, 2nd paragraph or at the end of the content. Works for posts and pages. Automatic output can be disabled.

The manual output is by adding the [optinform] shortcode anywhere you want.

As for the issue with “email does not populate”, the way I understand is that after you add the details into the form and submit you are taken to the confirmation page but the email address is not added to the newsletter list, is that correct?

If correct, what happens when you submit the form. What message is shown?

Yes. I now see it routes to a confirm portion to ensure the person wants to be added to my list however, it redirects to my online store instead of back to the blog. I understand it can lead to sales that way but my store can also be access via my blog.

The redirection is based on the settings you have set on Mailchimp, not the plugin.
