Mailchimp signup form widget does not use double Opt-in

    I first reported this issue via email in October 2019. However, it seems that the issue has still not been resolved.

    On successfully signing-up from the Mailchimp signup form widget (or the OceanWP Elementor widget ‘Newsletter Form’ that came with Core Extension bundle), my mailchimp list is updated with the email-address but neither the confirmation email nor the welcome email is sent to the user.

    I’m currently trying to customise and use the MC embedded form at various places on the website but I need the widget to work for sidebar and footer.

    Can someone please help me resolve this issue?
