Mailchimp returned the following API error

As the error suggests your API key is incorrect. First, make sure you are using the latest version of our plugin.

Then try creating new API keys and test again.

Receiving the same error:

Mailchimp returned the following error:
Unauthorized. API Key Invalid. Your API key may be invalid, or you’ve attempted to access the wrong datacenter. Created new API Key and same issue.

I’m getting the same response. I’ve created new keys, I’ve tried incognito window, I’ve cleared my history and closed all other windows and I still am getting this error.

Is there a fix for this?

Maybe MailChimp just blocked a number of accounts from using the API.
I did some tests in the latest versions of MailChimp for WordPress and could not reproduce any such issue myself so I really do think it’s related to the API key / MailChimp account.
