Mailchimp Popup

  • Hi, I’m trying to inject code for mailchimp popup. If I place it in the Head section for all pages, my site comes up blank, as if something is trying to load but can’t. I also tried to place it in the body and it did nothing at all, as in the popup did not come up, but the site was fine. I set the popup to pop up after scrolling to the middle of the page.

    Any suggestions here? I realize it can vary from theme to theme. I’m using Select’s Kloe from Theme Forest. The browser I’m using is Chrome. I’m using a staging site. If anyone can help, I’d be grateful. I have a ticket open with Select also, but it takes two days, so thought maybe I’d get a quicker answer here possibly.

    Probably it depends on mailchimp code, have they given instruction on how the code should be added?

    It’s pretty vague, usually the header, but said it depends on the theme. Placing it in the header did not work. But now I came across an article that Mailchimp does not work with WordPress and you have to do extra coding to get it to work, so not sure I’ll use Mailchimp now. Thanks for the response.
