mailchimp pop for customizr theme

  • Hi
    I am using the Customizr theme and I want to add a mailchimp pop up when I have new visitors to my site to try and build my mailing list.

    Where should I put the code?

    Also, where does mailchimp ask to put the code? What are the instructions for placement of code?

    Mailchimp says:

    After you embed the code to your site, any changes you make to your form can be published directly from the editor.

    and it says this:

    Copy the form code provided, and add the code to your site’s HTML. The best place to add the code varies from site to site, so reach out to a developer if you’re not sure where to modify your site’s HTML.

    ok, in that case, firstly, you have to decide where you want this to be placed – sidebar widget? If so, you can add a text widget and put the html code there.

    Well I just wanted it to pop up in the middle of the screen when someone comes to the page for the first time. Not at the side or bottom, just the middle.

    In that case, you may have to do it through a popup plugin.
    Try
