    Hi!

I found this plugin, and I’m hoping this will fix my problems. I am super stoked to have my images in my RSS campaign in Mailchimp. Unfortunately, my images were blurry. After reading through, I realized the “resize RSS feed images to fit template” was checked. I unchecked the box, and my images are no longer blurry; however, my images are stretched outside of my template. It appears perhaps they aren’t being resized for my RSS properly?

I just downloaded this today, so I’m not sure I set everything up correctly.

    Any help is much appreciated!

Update: through various support posts, I was able to find solutions for every issue I encountered. It took a lot of digging around, but all seems to be working fine. In case anyone else has any problems (even though it all seems pretty basic now that I’ve figured it out).

My alternate feed was displaying a 404 error. I just had to update my feed by changing how many it would display (from 10-11) and updating my settings. This refreshed my alternate feed.

I then had to go into mailchimp and change the URL on my RSS campaign.

My pictures were still displaying large and in their original alignment (they WERE within my template at least). I changed the scale by making sure the picture itself wasn’t over 740 px (they were both at 1000).

    Alls well that ends well.

    Loving this plugin!

I’m glad you figured out the answers to your questions–thank you for updating your support ticket.

One note is that if you are using a new image size for your feed (like the MailChimp image size), images which already exist on your site will need to be regenerated to create the new image size–but all new images will automatically have the new size created.

With the alternate feed enabled, updating/resaving your site’s permalinks will usually resolve the 404 issue as well. And yes, if you are using the alternate feed, you definitely need to change the feed URL in MailChimp. Glad you are sorted!
