• Hello,
Is the Goals tracking code automatically added to the page code by the plugin, or does it have to be added manually?
    Regards,
    Bharat

    Hello Bharat,

This plugin does not include JavaScript tracking methods and currently does not have the ability to implement them (i.e. we don’t have filters or actions that allow for JavaScript tracking either). The ability to add Google Analytics or Goal tracking scripts is a feature we’re really hoping to have in our next release but currently there is nothing.

    Sorry about that.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.

    Hello Kevin,
Thank you for the quick response but to clarify, I was referring specifically to the Goal tracking code that is available under Mailchimp.com > Account > Integrations > Goal.

The code is for Mailchimp to track web activity and perform respective actions for subscribers.

I have just had a quick look at the source code of a WP page but can’t seem to find similar code (added by the plugin) as to that in the Goal integration in Mailchimp.

I would appreciate your confirmation so that the code is not duplicated if I add it manually.

    Regards,
    Bharat

    Bharat,

Sorry that I was unclear – this plugin does not include MailChimp’s Goal tracking code. Adding it manually is the way to go.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.
