Mailchimp field not coming through

    Hi,

    I’ve set up a pop-up form using the plugin. Everything seems to working as it should, however, I cannot get the “FirstName” field to go through to Mailchimp.

    After submitting a form, the only field that is going into Mailchimp is “Email”. Any help would be appreciated!

    Shannon,

    Can you please go to your Mailchimp Dashboard, then go to “All Contacts”, and then click the Settings button and click the Audience Fields & Merge Tags menu.

    When the page loads, make sure the Firstname field is set to FNAME and lastname is set to LNAME

    Hi,

    I’ve tried the above and still can’t get the name field to come through. I’ve tried setting the field in Brave as a text field, with the field name set as FNAME. Also, I have tried using the name field in Brave (though prefer not to as I only need to capture first names, not last names).

    I double checked and made sure the field names on Mailchimp were correct, but unfortunately to no success. When using the standard Mailchimp form on our website, the name field comes through, but when using the Brave popup, it does not.

    @valorisliving I think you misunderstood me. You only need to change the merge tag from the “Audience Fields & Merge Tags” page in Mailchimp. Look at this screenshot and you will have a better idea: https://i.imgur.com/f0heUzw.png You need to make sure the Firstname field’s merge field is set to FNAME. That’s all.

    It was already like that by default when it wasn’t working. I had changed the actual field names to FNAME/LNAME as I thought that’s what you meant.

    I still can’t get the name field to come through from Brave though, email address comes through fine though.
